Looking for a soundcard...

Was planning to get a 5.1 headset originally, but I tried out my friend's PC with a soundcard today and I was amazed even my own headphones can produce such sounds!

Is this a good choice? Another question, does it have a front audio header as I use the front jacks more often than I use my speakers. Any other soundcards I should consider? Budget is £100, but would prefer it if it's closer to the 70 mark.

creative x-fi championship i think? or professional edition can be had for about 90 quids

my front audio came with the case?
it has a cable which plugs in the mobo?

Well I heard Creative cards aren't so good and Asus is better? Or is that not the case anymore with these cards?
