Looking for a special bottle for partners 30th birthday

Hi all,

I've been scouring the net for something a bit more personal for my partner's 30th birthday, amongst other ideas i was thinking a bottle of whiskey/rum/port from the year she was born (1991)... So far there's been a lot of naff sites coming up but some good options, the only problem is, my experience with anything fancy is zero... So I was just after some advice, or if anyone has done this before , any reputable sites would be much appreciated! Im not too fussy on the cost, but less than £150 would be great so I can afford her other gifts too.

Both sites I use frequently. You can get a selection of samples if you want to spread it out.

Thanks man, master of malt seemed like the best earlier, might contact them to see if they have any up to date bottles, most say 28/29 and 1991 , would be nice to get the 30 and the right year if possible.

And you're absolutely right... I thought £50 was pricey before I started looking

Had a peek at some of the older bottles and the price shoots up exponentially! Looking at a few grand for some of them... Maybe one day just for a laugh when the midlife crisis hits
Personally, I can't touch it, bad experience back in the day, now the smell of it gets me heaving, although after watching suits, I'd love to be able to wear a suit and grab a glass of scotch... Unfortunately I'd never been that cool!
