Looking for a stock size/shape AMD cooler and Artic 64 Questions?

Howdy,

I want to get a new cooler for my AMD (socket 939) but want it to be as close to the same shape and size as the stock AMD fan/hs so I know it will fit. And preferably easy to install, i.e. so I dont have to remove my mobo again cos that is annoying :)

The details of my PC are:

Asus A8N-SLi SE nForce4 SLi PC-E
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4400+
Coolermaster Cavalier 2 (I think)

The main reason I want it to be as close to the same size as the stock fan is because my case has as outlet pipe inside that sits over the stock fan... not sure if that makes sense... but basically the pipe sits just aobve the fan so a large cooler wouldn't fit there. But I suppose I could remove that?

Anyway the main reason for me buying the fan is noise level... I'm not bothered if the fan has the same performance as the stock cooler, just as long as its quieter. So the most quietest cooler on the market would be ideal?

Any advice on what fan I should get would be really appreciated, cos Im batting between bout 8 at the moment and havent a clue what one is quiestest/easiest to fit/best size etc :)

Thanks for your time!

Yeah I think the exahsut can be removed. Id prefer a Fan and Heatsink all in one package if poss, cos then I gotta find a fan to go with that heatsink... then I gotta mount it to it somehow... Im not that good with that stuff.

Ok I've been looking at the Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro and think im gonna go for that puppy.

Can someone tell me if this requires me taking my mobo out to fit? Or does it attach to the mount thats already there? Also bit worried that it might not fit with my TwinX DIMMs?
