Looking For A 'TODO' app?

Hi all,

Can anyone recommended a decent 'todo' type at where you can quickly type notes to yourself etc. At the moment I am just hand writing stuff on various bits of paper (which I normally lose). I know I could just write the stuf down in notepad/word - but if there is a programme that does this kind of job that would be great.

Anyone give me some suggestions?

How about wallpaper calender, i was using it in XP but aint tried it on vista yet. If u triple mouse click a day on your desktop you can add notes etc.
