Looking for a watercooling solution for the summer

Summer is comming... apparently and with summer comes increased temperature, and increased fan noise from the PC.

I've decided to actually bother doing something about it this time round and switch my machine from air to watercooled. That being said I have no knowledge of watercooling what-so-ever.

Ideally what i'm looking for is a kit that can handle 2 GPU's rather than just the 1, also needs to fit an LGA755 although most units seem to be universal nowadays. Silence is key here. Internal or external doesn't bother me as a little [lot] of modding never hurt anyone, but i'd prefer something that required as little modding as possible.

Obviously it needs to be on the powerful side as it's taking over the job of 6 fans.

Budget is around £200-300 tops, the easier it is to install the better. So spam away with ideas :D

Here goes:

Radbox
Thermochill PA120.3 with Nexus/Panaflo/ Xinruilian fans
Swiftech Storm rev 2
Masterkeer 7/16" tubing
DD D5
Silverprop Fusion SL X 2
DD fillport or res
barbs etc

will be well within your budget :)

If you can't get the mentioned there are alternatives with little performance hit. eg new Alphacool CPU block.

swiftech 355 pump (12v, molex, v small, v quiet)
dandgerden maze 4 low profile sli kit
swiftech storm cpu block
black ice extreme 120.2 rad
res/fillport

under £200 I reckon, just make sure you get really good tubing, proper (not off ebay) tygon, thick walled stuff, also heard dangerden clearflex is good and I'm happy with my xspc tubing. Anything thin walled/cheap won't make the bedn for your sli cards..

Unless you fancy going mental and getting the dangerden nv78 sli kit but that looks like overkill to me.

Depends entirely what case you have, i.e. how much room!! and if you are prepared to have anything external. For SLI and CPU I wouldnt go smaller the a 120.2 Thermochill rad or equivalent better if you can manage a 120.3 if only to have quieter fans

Maze 4 or cheap copies of. No point in a GPU cooler that covers the ram. GDDR3 doesnt need it, nor would it likely to be any good for your next upgrade!! and it restricts flow in the loop, use Ram sinks if you think it needs it. Not convinced myself.

Dangerden D5 or one of the several rebadged derivatives.

Several decent CPU blocks out there, I currently use a Dangerden TDX but I hear Swiftech Storm are better, Apogee Ok. But TBH not a great deal in it unless a degree or 2 is really crucial to you.

I use 3/8" internal diameter tubing on 1/2" diameter fittings with no hose clamps, warm the tubing in hot water to stretch over, but thats a personal choice, depends how comfortable you are with it.

T-Line is quite adequate (fillport optional), a res if you have the room and want some bling ;) I have a Dangerden dual port res with an inch of air at the top, a bit of UV dye and lighting and gives an effective wave effect without introducing bubbles.

Thanks for all the suggestions, am doing a lot of research atm. Space in the case is minimal at the moment. I'm using a Sunbeam black transformer case, I figured hell that should be large enough, then I put in 3 drives, 2 cards and bleh all the space is gone lol.

I know what you mean, did find a case with room, but some say its a bit excessive, dont know what they mean ;)

Edit quick(ish) - Doh keep forgetting about that :o Didnt want their URL On the case but they dont do plain :(
