Everything in Wireless G is out of stock at the moment, strangely, but I'll be picking one up whenever OcUK get more in. Are the Edimax cards any good? Should I bite the bullet and step up to Wireless N?
If you want to use wireless N then you will also need a wireless N router, which I assume you know
You won't notice the difference between G and N unless you like streaming Hi-Def movies over your local network, and if you wanted to you would probably be better off with some Homeplugs if your walls are anything like my wireless blocking ones.
I have no experience of the Edimax cards, but I have been using a Broadcom card, same chip as on the Belkin F5D7000UK, with no problems for the last 3 years. I also doubt there is much difference between the Edimax and Belkin cards, so I'm sure the Edimax would be ok.
