Looking for a WoW Guild

Hi

Basically I have returned to WoW after a near two year break. I've been back about one week and two days now and have leveled my 70 Hunter to 80 and have geared it up somewhat, I have 4.8K gearscore.

I'm looking for a guild that is currently raiding or is going to start raiding soon, because at the moment I feel like I have hit a wall with gearing up my character. I am in a guild at the moment but it's more of a 'casual' guild than any raiding, with people just leveling chars and such, there are a few 80's there that tried to arrange a Naxx 10 run last night (which I went to) but it was so unorganised it fell apart straight away. And the heroics don't drop any good loot now, nothing that can improve on what I have already, and the emblems of triumph are the same, I've bought all of the useful stuff that I can with them now, theres nothing more I can buy. So basically, I need to raid to actually improve my gear and get better stuff, but PUG's won't let me join because they want at least about 5K gearscore and so I'm in a catch-22 situation.

I don't mind transferring realm, thats not a problem, but I'm a Horde character so would prefer a Horde guild of course, otherwise it's going to get very pricey tranferring my character and then paying for a faction change aswell.

Anyone out there that could possibly offer me a spot?

with the expansion looming its not really worth the effort with the gear reset

Yeah but thats still two or more months away, it's still worth getting some gear together for the time being.

You should be able to get bit better gear still without entering any raids - farm some gold and hit the AH for craftable gear, do some heroic ToC and ICC 5 mans and you should end up just over 5k GS (I managed that with my feral, can't see why a hunter wouldn't be able to do it). You can get some decent quality gear from AT dailies as well given enough time.

You levelled from 70-80 in 1week 2 days and managed to gear up aswell? D: Well done man! haha

Gearing up in wow is very easy now.

Make sure you get full trumph gear, then do dailys and weekly for Frost badges start getting t10 asap. then Look at the crafted 264 legs and boots. IIRC they are good for a hunter. Get a battered hilt for the sword. This will all boost your GS.

Then blag it, start saying this is an alt you have leveled and have full ICC exp - make sure you know taccys and its easy to get into pugs. I decided to start gearing my naxx geared warrior, and within a week i had 5.4k gs Just from truimph badges and BOE's. And got straight into a pug that did 12/12 on normal.
