Looking for advice for Gaming PC

I've been looking at the "Titan Triceratop", and it seems like exactly the PC I am looking for. With the GTX 570 and Windows 7 Home Premium, this works out at £869.96 inc VAT. I chose the GTX 570 because I've heard that it runs better at lower resolutions - my monitor is 1680x1050.

I'd like to keep my options open, and would consider building a similar system myself. However I have no idea where to start in regards to parts.

If anyone could spec me a similar system that may be a better option, that would be fantastic! The price above is already at the high end of my budget, so any savings would also be welcomed. An OS is needed.

Also, some questions I have:

- Would it be difficult to overclock in the same way that is advertised on the Triceratop?
- Also, I currently have a Sapphire HD 5770 1GB. Would it be a good option to crossfire another with my current one and then invest in a better graphics card at a later date?

Thanks!

Not at all, Sandy bridge CPU's are some of the simplest to OC.

Sounds like a plan, two 5770 in crossfire is quick - http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/graphics/display/radeon-hd5770-hd5750-crossfirex.html

Thanks, this is exactly what I was looking for!

I'll keep the extension cables in mind too. I already have a PSU extension, so I'll see what else I'll need.

EDIT: In regards to an SSD, would it be worthwhile to get a smaller sized one? I think that I'd only use it for the OS and maybe a game or two.

In reality a 64gb SSD is only good for the OS and about 4-5 games depending on installation size.

One thing you might need unless it came with your 5770?

Is a "flexible crossfire bridge" google it.
