Hi I have an old PC im messing around with that I am wanting to add a few parts to improve it.I have just got a CPU and GPU for it already what I have left is £100 and I am unsure what to buy next without upgrading the LGA775 socket heres what I have

Core 2 Quad Q9650 with stock cooler
GTX 750 DDR5 1GB ASUS
4X2GB DDR2 RAM 800mhz
FSB group PSU 600W
Foxconn P43AL mobo
SATA HD 1TB

I have some questions

I was thinking maybe buying next a cooler for the CPU that I will try overclock any recommendations? the case is an ADVENT CENTURION CQ9204

is it worth getting an SSD to help with gaming?

is the PSU ok for overclocking the Quad?

is running 4x2GB of ram hurting performance?

I only have £100 left to spend ideas would be great and much appreciated thanks!

Adding a SSD will be great, if done it as a laugh on an old core duo and it made such a difference to overall system responsiveness. It will not add frame rate or help you turn the setting sup.

FSP are ok, should be fine.

RAM, nah.

£100? got a nice keyboard+mouse?

thanks for the reply!

yea I got a good mouse and keyboard haha and nice spare LCD 40 to run it on

thinking i will need a good cooler right? 100 should get me decent one no? if i am going to attempt to overclock the CPU and would an SSD help with texture loading tho on say GTA 4 or is that all GPU problems causing the pop ins?

sorry for all the questions my first time messing around with the PC
