I'm currently running an MSI Gaming Laptop with the following spec: -
- Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6920HQ CPU @ 2.90GHz
- 64GB RAM
- 2 x Geforce 980 Titan 8GB cards running in SLI
- 500GB SSD (For boot and windows)
- 1TB HHD
Windows 10 Home
I've had the system (Which I got from Overclockers) for about 6 years now and its fair to say despite its crazy price at the time that its held up incredibly well. It still runs new games at ultra but lacks a 4k screen and obviously doesn't run 4k games as a result and misses out on things such as ray-tracing.
I'm looking to replace the laptop with either a new monstrous gaming laptop (Portability is not an issue as it will very rarely need to move and the current MSI laptop I have is a beast anyway) OR a desktop gaming rig.
Does anyone have any recommendations from Overclockers? (Budget is approx £5k)
