Excellent cpu for gaming.
16 gig gpu as 8 gig ones are starting to struggle in newer games.
The 2 items that are pre order are much cheaper and in stock at other retail outlets. (save about £45 on the above price)
Use the stock cooler to save money or buy the excellent :

Also for a 15 pounds more upgrade to 32 gig of ram

5700x3d processor, upgrade the ram to 32gb 3200, there is some on overclockers for £50, then get an AMD rx7700xt, you might be able to get away with using your PSU, but would be best to get. 650w one.

You can re-used your motherboard with a bios update, according to gigabyte agesa notes it supports a 5700x3d. But the PCIE3 might hinder the GPU slightly

Probably get another 4 years out of it with the above.

Also need an SSD, doesn't

Budget build - Go with a BIOS update, 5700X3D, some new RAM, (M2SSD), GPU and a PSU. You don't NEED 3600MT/s RAM with the X3D so even some fast 3200 would be fine.
Max out your budget - AM5 with a 7600

either way, pick up a 6700XT/6750XT or something similar for the £300 mark for the GPU, try to avboid the 8GB cards in that price range (4060/RX7600)

If replacing mobo, you might as well go AM5 as @dfour says. if sticking with am4, please get 32gb ram...16 not enough now.
below along same line as above for AM5 but put a 750w atx3.0 psu with 10yrs warranty, and a 1tb ssd..ram is alternative..6000c36, so ever so slightly slower than the 6000c30, but get a bit of rgb thrown in for the same price (as kids like rgb and fps impact will be fairly negligible). 7600 comes with a cooler so don't need one striaght away..if do I'd get something like the arctic freezer 36 argbfor £30 or a peerless assasin for same price. there's also a b grade 7600 cpu available...put a bid in for it..probably a return or damaged box but who cares if works 100%..ask £140 odd , bit more than 2nd hand, less than new
I'd look at the 6750XT also with 12gb vram...powercolour fighter is available for £282 but not at OCuk...free next day delivery too

if you look at the relative performance chart, you'll see it is 19% faster than the 4060

so below is £800...only put the 4060 in a a placeholder as close to the 6750xt in price.....6750XT is cheaper by £8...and if can get the b grade 7600, might knock off another 40..so potentially £50 off taking
