Hi everyone,

My sister is quite a good artist, she draws and paints on paper and canvas and the like. She's recently acquired an interest in having a bash at digital painting, so she's come to me for help picking a tablet.

I don't really know where to start, so I'm coming here for advice. The biggest name seems to be Wacom, but I'm not sure which model to go for, or if there's a better alternative.

She's never tried this sort of thing before, so we don't want to invest too heavily for her to turn round and say she doesn't like it. As such, budget is between £50 and £100, but I'd happily pay closer to £50.

Do any of you lovely people have anything to suggest?

Much appreciated.

Thanks. I must admit that these were what I'd been looking at. They seem to get universally good reviews and they're not too badly priced.

Well, as it so happens I've ordered her a Wacom Bamboo tonight. I'm sure it'll do the job nicely. Pleasantly under budget too :D

Thanks.
