Hey,

I'm looking for an really decent air cooled case, low temps being a priority, low noise a second consideration.

Now I know these 2 things don't always go together but maybe something matches my needs?

It'll be housing a either a Noctua NH-D15 or a Dark Rock Pro 4 CPU cooler, ATX motherboard, large air cooled GPU, basically a normal-ish PC.

Budget, not too concerned with, already looking at cases costing £200 so around that or less is perfect.

Any ideas? TIA :)

Not tried air cooling
In my new enthoo luxe 2
But think it would be good
Finger thickness opening all around
Front and top panels
I can really feel air coming out the top
Of this thing
Much more than enthoo luxe 1
Which had the more standard
Perforated type top
Though I am watercooling
If anything air cooling should draw
More air in the front as I am having
To push it through a radiator

Thanks, I'll have a deeper look tomorrow, but it seems like a decent case, would you say it's well built, good quality etc..?

I like the idea of fans on the bottom as well for better airflow :)

Yes pretty well built
The powder coating~if that's what it is
Feels more premium than most cases
I have had
And isn't a finger print magnet either
Only niggle I have is on mine may not all do it
When you open the door
To close it you have to lift it up a
Small amount as it drops fractionally
And lines up too low to meet
The latch
Pretty minor given I don't open it often
The addressable leds are really nice
Very thin strip not in your face stuff
Not cheap case but
I don't regret paying what I did

I've already said it and some agreed and some got defensive but nearly all modern cases are that same design with glass and RGB and 120-140mm fans, bring back the big cases with 200mm fans IMO.

I am still on my NZXT Phantom 630 for this very reason.

I have been looking at the Cooler Master H500M with 2 x 200mm front fans, though I need to check reviews etc.. 200mm fans don't tend to push much air though, so I'm keen to read up on it :)

200mm fans spin slower but they can move a lot of air but not probably as much pressure as smaller faster fan unless design changes to do so and what the issue is with no standardisation between vendors so its a mess to get them to fit your case.

These videos are good info but again this new revived 200mm fans are still non standard but I see return esp. now there is a revival of 200mm fan+radiators for WC.

Yeah cases
Are a personal thing
Though for me
Glass side is way better than acrylic
The argb on this luxe 2 is really nice
Should call it enthoo 719 as
They changed the name
But the leds aren't in your face
Pretty narrow strip
And very smooth transitions
And can still turn them off if you want
Possible reasons for not a 200mm
Fan at front would be few 200mm
Radiators
And aio are more popular nowadays
But are 120mm or 140mm not 200mm
Though I would put it in the top
Not front but some people do
But yeah with cases
It's horses for courses
I won't get defensive if I like something
Some one else doesn't
And vice versa

Ps sorry if my spacings even worse
Than usual having one of those
Days

I've got a H500P mesh in white. You can tests the designs of new aircraft in it as its a wind tunnel.
NH-D14, 1070 +Morpheus II cooler + Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM fans. Very silent.

Any of the H500's without the plastic front panel are going to be cool. The plastic front panel was slated by gamers nexus, so they introduced the mesh.
I'll get some pics uploaded tomorrow

Here's one I made earlier,
