Per header. Want to stretch my soft and flabby programming muscles again but seeing my Windows PC is out of action for at least another month, I'd settle for a good Apple alternative. I'm not skilled enough to code in NotePad so would need a little push from a good IDE. Do you guys perhaps know of any?

Have used both Coda and TextMate - personally I think both are fantastic.

Haven't used them in a while though so couldnt tell you why I think they're good... sorry :p

Most of those aren't really IDEs as such (though that's not necessarily a bad thing).
XCode is the obvious choice, and is quite good.
TextWrangler is an excellent free editor from the same people as BBEdit.

For developing what?

If it's C, C++ or Objective-C then the obvious (and free) one is Apple's Xcode.

Eclipse.org's Eclipse IDE would also be on there for Java.

Coda is good for webby stuff.
