Looking for an upgrade

I have a MSI twin frozr 680 and I game at 1440p I was wondering if it's worth upgrading to the AMD R9 290 or 290x?

Other specs are i7 2600k, 16gb 1600mhz Ram, Corsair AX850w with a 120gb corsair ssd and 1x 3tb drive.

I mostly play bf4 and dayz on the pc and may play titanfall on the pc as well but I may in future get two more 1440p monitors and and sli the 290 or 290x.

Personally Id get a 290 over a 290X as I don't think it justifies the additional cost however if money is no object then go ahead.

Similarly if money is not a problem then you could look at a titan black which should be available next week.

Other options would be SLI 780s/780tis

Yes go for it... The extra ROPS, memory and memory bandwidth of the 290 over your 680 will be very useful at 1440p

dont go for the reference 290, get something like the msi twin frozr or the sapphire tri x or gigabyte windforce
