Looking for an XSD editor

with similar functions to XML Spy but as an open source (or free closed source) application. I've been using Visual Studio, but it's so pap it's unbelievable.

I wish I had the time to write one....

thanks JIMA, I've borrowed another XMLSpy license from another project who have floating licenses, that'll do for now.
