Hi Folks :) I’m currently running a Titan Triceratop Intel Core i5 2500K + a 580 GTX in a Coolmaster Elite case, which seems to get too toasty on occasions running F@H on both the CPU & the GPU in fairness the side case does have access for 2 by 120mm fans however the HS takes up the space required for one of them & IMHU the case is too flimsy & I’m guessing would kick up too much noise if I installed an additional fan in the other space. I’m currently running with the side case off the PC to curtail the build up of any excessive heat. Well, that’s the story so far.

If I can find one somewhere, I’d like to get my hands on an Antec 100 gaming case, which seems a far better option from a throughput of cooling air point of view. I’ve looked on OCUK but ATM can’t see any, I don’t know if they’re new, or like me old.

I really like the look of the case inclusive of the fact it's got what looks like a small tray space at the top front, which would be an ideal place to keep the mobile while on charge through a USB. :D

A couple of points come to mind, I’ve contacted OCUK & awaiting a reply on whether they can obtain this case be it an old expired model, or a relatively new one, alternately in the event that OCUK can't get one, does anyone know of a likely purchase point?

I’ve never built a PC previously however I’m aware of and responsive to the static risks, also in the recent past electronics was a practical hobby of mine. Is this a job I should be able to DIY or is it necessary to pay the expert?

Any help would be great, many thanks

You won't get any help with where to buy one as it is against forum rules to discuss competitors. However, it does look like they may have been discontinued and possibly replaced by the Antec One (on pre-order at the mo http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-178-AN&groupid=701&catid=7&subcat=160).

You might be better off posting your budget and getting some suggestions for alternatives. The Bitfenix Shinobi tends to be a popular choice in the £40 price area but I don't know how the cooling compares to your current case, although I expect other members here may be able to help :)

Thanks for your replies Guys I'm sorted now, I managed to get exactly what I wanted & oh boy have those temps come down big time, minus 7C on the GPU & minus 15C on the CPU Although I know more accurately the figures morning side.

Once again thank you very much for your input. :)
