Does anyone remember battle chess, where the figures used to fight each other?

Are there any modern games like that out now?

Chessmaster 10 is the nearest one i can think off, but i don't think the picese actually kill each other

Tried that and its a demo. Didnt think much of it. Very dated. Any humourous versions out there?
