Hey all! Looking for some rigs from overclockers that are the best for gaming for their price that include Windows 10 (£400 - £500)

Want to play all new games without lag or changing graphics settings (Medium/Default)

Dont need anything else except monitor

Will also need a monitor that is quite cheap (£80 or below) that can handle 1080p at 1920 x 1080

Thanks all!!

Was thinking about getting this https://www.overclockers.co.uk/tita...o-atx-gaming-pc-fs-149-og.html#t=b3c1d1f6j0k5

What games could it run and on which quality?

It's alright, but I would downgrade to 8Gb Ram, and upgrade to a R9 280. You'll get much more gaming mileage from a better GPU than from more memory.

I'd also downgrade to a fx-6300 (you can easily overclock it to match the 6350), and increase budget slightly to get a primary 120GB SSD and have the 2TB drive as secondary.

With all that, you'd be looking at medium setting for most new games at 1080p. Games tend to default to a recommended setting for your hardware, so you shouldn't have to fiddle too much. You'll always have to mess about a bit if you want to optimise performance to your preferences (do you favour smooth frame rates, or eye-candy; do you insist upon a good level of AA over other graphical effects etc etc) - it's a budget system so compromises will be necessary.

Dam hit the configarator selection and then gaming, apologies lukerill, Good advice from cheesyboy but i think he means R9 380 not 280 just a type error.

Good spot, you're right :)

It was less a typo, though, and more a brain-fart. Difficult to move on from prior years' nomenclatures :D
