Looking for build £800-£1000

Hi guys,

Going to jump in here as the bottom ITX build from Danny is exactly the type of thing I'm looking for r.e. case size and budget. My hardware knowledge is a good decade from being useful so in need of the help...

Couple of questions, with regards something like the Witcher 3 (and potentially next Fallout), will this play such games without too much difficulty? I'm definitely not after a decent framerate at full graphics but more looking for solid & reliable performance at the recommended settings.

I'm not interested in overclocking really but would like to put it together myself. I don't think it's more difficult than it used to be but any tips would be helpful if things have changed a lot.

Thanks.

I'd be looking at the next tier graphics card the GTX 970, won't have any probs with that :)

Thanks dacads. Could you link me a decent one that would fit in this setup if poss? Looks like the budget will need to jump up a bit too?

Here's a few for that case:

PSU in first and slide the cables through. You can cable manage by tucking excess cabling just behind the PSU (an inch or so width there) and also beside the PSU on the right-hand side of the case.

Connect the audio, USB, Sata cables etc, everything the mobo will need except the GPU, just before mounting it on the case, as otherwise it can be tricky to insert some stuff.

Always be careful when removing the right panel because USB/Audio/Power/Reset cables are attached there. If you rest the panel right beside the case and then tilt it flat slowly, there should be no pulling.
