Hey all,

I was just wondering if anyone would have any kind of suggestion/recommendation for a case that has a lot of 3.5 inch HD space? Ideally upto 20 Drives (don't ask lol.)

In an ideal world I'd like a white case (got a whole white thing going on with my stuff/main machine)

I've had a poke around but there seems to be a severe lack of multi-drive cases like there used to be back in the day.

Any size would do. :)

Thanks

Another vote for the Fractal Design - Define 7 XL, lovely case to work on, although if you have so many drives you will have to budget for extra HD trays. Only downside is airflow is a little restricted, but with 2x360 rads and a 10980XE cooling is adequate.

I know you said "don't ask" but I have to ask....

I'll give this a punt over to the cases section.

For 20 3.5" drives it's probably going to need to be some sort of proper tower I'd imagine.
Assuming not a high performance machine potentially one of the old full towers with some 5.25 to 3.5" drive adaptors which potentially could be picked up cheap as they don't have the cooling or bells and whistles the modern gamer wants..
I had a couple of full towers going back 15+ years that had space for something like 6x 5.25 drives and 6x3.5 drives out of the box

If looking to use 5in3 5.25” bay adaptors, new you can get a Jonsbo T59x, but that's a bit pricey - better to look around for second hand cases like a Lian li PC-A79, Anidees AI Crystal XL Pro/raider, or an antec twelve hundred.
