How cheap can an lcd tv be bought for?

All i want is a minimum 20" screen (with or without integrated freeview) for as cheap as possible.

Sharp do a 20" Model for about £300.

A better option (if possible) would be to get a nice 19-21" TFT and a PCI Digital Tuner. You can then use the PC as a digital recorder too!

Budget?

You can get 23" Sammy LCD's for under 500 notes. Some 26" or 27" Sammys are available for not much mre.

Or if you want something bigger on a budget, the 32" Medion MD20099 can be had for £599 and it's a great set for the money (i recently bought one).

I got my 26inch Samsung for £499 and there is a supermarket that sells the 23inch version for £399 (R41/51 cant remember which but both are great)

You can use the pc as a tv recorder anyway without a tft.

Thanks for all the suggestions.The tv has now got a budget...

Upto £350 without freeview
Upto £400 with freeview

Also needs to be wall mountable.

I would expand your budget and go with the 23" Sammy for £400, very much doubt you will find a better screen than that.

Then buy a separate freeview box.

Are you aware of the cost of wall mounting brackets?

Sometimes they can be quite high!

When you find the TV you like be sure to investigate the cost of wall mounting it, also, think about where the cabling will go as it looks a mess just hanging down the wall!

i just got an hyundai imagequest a321 32" hd ready for £374+vat ,its a customer return,tho i cant find a mark on it,nothing missing and no dead/stuck pixels,well pleased with it for the money.

Does it have freeview and what model is it?

@Tesla
Yes i have looked into the cost of wall mounting brackets and they can be had for as little as £25.

@pugster
Yes that was a bargain i will have to look for something like that myself. :)

Certain TV's can pretty much only be mounted with a propriatory (sp?) bracket, those are the ones I am advising to look out for.

AFAIK all the Samsung LCD use a standard VESA mount, ACE!

Dont think so, mine doesnt anyway. Thats why I said buy a separate Freeview box :p

There are various 23" Sammy panels, all of different ages. All the model numbers start with LE23 though I think.
