I currently have some real janky pillows and I'm sick of waking up with a bad neck. I've never bought decent pillows before so can anyone recommend some decent ones, brands etc please?

Thanks

Down will be very soft, but will require very regular plumping. Feather will be firmer and not quite as soft, but generally will require less plumping. You could also look at memory foam pillows or hotel quality microfibre ones as well.

Personally I have 80/20 Feather/Down 1200GSM pillows on the bottom and then 100% Down pillows on top of them (yes I use two pillows).

Who in the world would only use ONE???? 2 pillow person here. To be honest I am looking for a some new ones. The thing with feather ones is the sharp bit sticks out of the case and that does my head in but that was years ago last I used them. Do they not have the sharp bits in nowadays?

I hate feather pillows, latex pillows are the only way to go. Very comfortable and never lose its shape/flatten.

I would also like some pillow suggestions as I've had a bad neck for a few months from the tat ones I use. I'm always a bit wary of sticking money down because I end up getting home and not liking the pillow.

I bought one of these fancy hungarian goose down duvets and it was extremely light but it leaked everywhere, was from a reputable company people recommended on here too. got a replacement same thing. So I returned everything to them including their fancy expensive pillows too (which didn't leak) for a full refund.

I replaced it with ones 1/5th of the price from M&S which is hardly a cheap retailer in fact I would say they are pricey so it being 1/5th of the cost you can imagine how pricey the other place was. I went with a man made one this time from their anti allergy range and no complaints. It ticks all the boxes.

So I would say avoid the "natural" ones which are very expensive, go with man made anti allergy stuff from a reputable retailer like M & S.

Sadly I am Mr Pillow. I have trillions of them, including everything John Lewis has made ever EVER, all prices and frankly it's totally down to your own bonce. Of all of them I have a couple that I get on with. For me it is little more than trial and error.

foam on bottom, feather on top, although takes a fair few months before you stop getting stabbed by feathers, but after that its sweet. unless that's just cheap feather pillows.

I bought a memory foam pillow due to neck problems and can't remember the last time I woke up with a sore neck.
