Looking for FPS

Hey, I'm looking for an FPS to buy, I really enjoy CSS and have also got COD2 which was great, so I'm looking for something like those. The most important part is the single player though since my internet's not the best
I have looked at recent COD releases but they seem to get rated pretty badly, battlefield bad company 2 and ARMA 2. Just though i'd see if anyone had any insight into these or another title. Cheers

Definetely check out cod 4, its got a epic campaign and the multiplayer is incredibly popular so you can always get a game.

Its only mw2 and black ops that are panned by the community, most people recognize 4 as one of the best fps games in recent years.

Medal of Honor is pretty good IMO.

Yep new Medal of Honour game impressed me a lot and is probably the best of the series for single player. Pacific Assault I liked a lot too although it got panned by a lot of people.

If you want something a bit out of left field maybe give Tribes: Vengeance a go, should be cheap now, has a decent story and some very nice fight sequences thanks to the jetpacks.

If you like the Battlefield style then check out Frontlines: Fuel of War, it has a much better campaign than any BF game I've played.

Valve's Orange Box is a bit of a classic and well worth checking out if you haven't already.

Finally Far Cry and Crysis are good options if you want some fairly open-ended jungle warfare.
