Looking for good monitors.

So I know absolutely nothing about monitors so I'm looking for some recommendations, on the price side obviously I don't want too expensive but I'm looking for an Ultrawide or 2 curved ones, I was having a look at some 49" monitors and they were pretty expensive and some didn't even do 144hz, I'm okay with if they're actually worth that much, would be mainly used for gaming. What's the cheapest 49" or would it really just be better to get 2 34"? Doesn't have to be either if there is some really good monitors around, any suggestions? Thanks.

How far are you sitting from your monitor as 49" is huge. I can't imagine that much head/neck movement being fun for long. I moved from 24"/1080p/144Hz to 27"/1440p/165Hz and would not want to go any bigger any time soon, even if moving up to 4K (though text would be difficult to read at that size/res I'd imagine). Presumably it's for gaming?
