And my first choice would have been the Fractal Design R3, but I'm worried. There have been many posts all over the place, here included, about quality issues. Some have even gone so far as to say it's now quite flimsy. What the heck happened? Have they changed the manufacturing process or something?

I currently have a quite thin aluminium case (Lian Li A05nb), so I'd be really disappointed if it wasn't pretty solid... (i know its steel so it's going to be better than what i have now).

Which brings me to the Antec Solo II. Internally it doesn't look appealing to me (top mounted PSU), but it's clear it's rock solid in terms of construction.

Help me decide folks! Noise is the priority, but temps are important, sure, just not critical as both will probably beat my current case.

Which one?

Running a 6970.

Lian Li's are one of best quality cases there is
But if you're after that solid feel then fair enough
I'd look at the Antec personally, though if you can afford a little more (£20), how about the P280? Cracking case (I assume, used to have the P180 and this will only be an improvement) Good solid and very quiet
