Looking for heatsink for Q6600

Artic Cooling Freezer7 rev2 is amazing value for money. With the OC below I never see my chip go above 35ish (55 under prime).

as hzza said, the AC 7 is very good value.
or the AC 13 £25 http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-039-AR&utm_source=forums&utm_medium=banner
or the coolermaster hyper 212 for £2 more than the AC 7 http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-029-CM

alsoas that mobo is a g41 chipset, it will limit you to how high you can overclock.
i had one before and the highest i could get is 2.9GHz

if you are only going to oc it to 2.6GHz then you shouldn't need a proper cooler, the stock intel cooler will be ok at 2.6GHz

edit. just check the specs of the coolers, as the width of your case can have a big affect on if the cooler will fit

Hi hzza
what are you using to monitor temps. and what are your idle temps?
my room temp is 20.C and at default, core temp had it at 15.C which is impossible.
coretemp has the q6600 tjmax at 85 when most people agree it should be 100.

download realtemp and check your temps.
also i have changed the tjmax to 100 in real temp.
so i am idling at 30ish.C and load reaches 65 ish.C which is more realistic.

the most important thing in realtemp is the distance to tjmax.
never let it go to less than 20
