As title, we are in the process of speccing a set of 3600 x 2090 aluminium sliding patio doors. We want two panes, each 1800mm wide,

There are any number of companies online but very few are available for viewing nearish us. (Lincoln).

We have been to the Express bifolds showroom in Leeds and were impressed with the XP Glide R range which came in at £5200 installed.

However, are there any other ranges that people have had fitted and they have been happy with?

I am considering Sunflex for example.

Also, any thoughts at all are welcome.

I looked at a lot at a manufacturers at a housebuilding show at Harrogate & Express Bifolds were the best for price point to quality IMHO.

Thanks for the reply.

The more companies we try to deal with, the better the service and quality of the Express Bifolds offering seems. Their customer service so far has been excellent and they are available for quotes and answering any queries very quickly.

We have a project at work that had that exact sliding door fitted - looks really good.

Could also try schüco. IQ glass have a brand called Sieger Lux which have narrow frames - also look very nice.

Raynears kit always comes well recommended.
Seen a link suggesting Express BiFolds sell their kit (infact the XP Glide R) so if that's the case, it's another positive!

Yes, the Expressbifolds XP Glide R is the Raynears system and the XP Glide S is the Schuco system.

We will be heading back to the Leeds showroom to have another look and just make sure that we know exactly what we want.
