looking for homework/office desktop for my daughter

good afternoon
Im after a little advice please as I know absolutely nothing about computers.
Ive had an apple i3 mini Mac for quite a few years and its on its last legs and want to switch back to windows computer as after many years as I find it non user friendly. In addition to this my daughter needs a windows computer for homework tasks etc.

Just looking for something pretty basic compared to gaming pc, must be relatively quiet (the Apple Mac is silent) as we use it as a media centre hooking it up to the tv.
can anyone kindly recommend anything that might be suitable?

thank you for your messages. I believe that I didn't give enough info. Im presently using a Mac mini (dying after many years use) and use the TV as a monitor and considering something similar size as it would fit nicely under the tv. Been looking at NUC or possibly a new Mac mini and have someone install windows onto it (not sure how much that would cost or whether it could be done?) needs to be quiet too for watching movies etc ( the Mac is silent)

Had a look online and unless Im mistaken its a barebones pc.
I realy wouldnt have a clue how to add the extra bits to get it operational or a reputable seller??
