In my basement cinema I currently use a custom built PC (about 5yrs old maybe more) and the graphics card is on its way out. So I thought now is a good time to either rebuild or replace with something much more fluid.

Currently use Win10 and Plex which I love. Occasionally might use netflix but then means the web application.
Goes directly to Denon AVR then on to Projector (1080P) and surround (7.1)

Requirements:
Audio pass through - basically want to make sure I can get the best audio quality out of my files as I had to originally switch out some components to get 'trueHD' to show on my amp for example.

Instead of Win10 maybe android or something so it would be App based?

Off the shelf PC?
Just want something I can buy and it works out of the box.
I'm done tinkering :D

Appreciate any recommendations.

I could always replace with a SSD, new GFX.....but that's boring ;)

Thanks guys, been doing a bit of research and I think nvidia shield will be the way to go.
Already have a nas/server set up hosting all my movies etc.

Annoyingly though, looks like they are releasing a new one in early 2017.....however if it already does everything I need the upgrades will probably for more 4k/3D/gaming applications which I won't need.
....plus a nice price drop.

I had noticed that looking around a few sites to buy one...... Why on earth are they so expensive when the official website states $199. Guess that means I'll have to wait til gen2 or find something else.
