Looking for ideas for a desk.

(Couldn't find an appropriate section, hopefully this is close enough).

Basically I've got an awesome opportunity to get a computer desk hand crafted for me. All I need are some awesome ideas to implement into the desk to make it a fully functional and slick setup.

Things I've thought of so far:
-Holes through the desk for cabling (Duh)
-A hole recessed into the surface of the desk to incorporate a plug socket into the desk
-A sliding cover for the keyboard/mouse (so that I can convert that area into somewhere for writing / doing work / keeping the desk looking tidy when I'm not using it).

I can pretty much do anything (within reason), so I'm just looking for some ideas for what could turn out to be an awesome end product. Of course, I'll be providing pictures once the project is done.

So really what I'm looking for is:
-Suggestions
-Pictures of other awesome desks
-(ideally) A site collating some awesome desk designs

How about something closer to the floor? Then you can use on of those bubble seats...

Maybe get a picture up of the room where you want the desk and see what fits best.

I'm well impressed with that desk above though - would go perfectly in my study!

Well it's going to be for my house (which I don't live in at the minute - I'm in uni halls) temporarily UNTIL we move out into our new house which is being built. Hasn't even been planned, so this desk can literally be the feature the room is built around.

Here's the stuff I've got so far:

-Under mounting

Incorporate:
-A Net Top / All in one touchscreen net top (EEE top?)
-An Ethernet port / Hub / Router
-A Card reader
-An extension lead
-An iPod dock
-USB hub

"Porn away" button feature has to be a given, as has a concealed "used" tissue bin
