Looking For Light: Jane Bown

I thought this would be better suited in here.

A documentary is being made about the famous Jane Bown.

The DVD will be out on the 26th of May, and it's being played in some very select cinemas.

I listened to Mark Kermode's brief review on the Wittitainment podcast today. Sounds fascinating, a portrayal of someone who genuinely connected with her subjects but who was also terribly insecure.

I'm using the past tense, but I assume she's still very much with us? I'm not an Observer reader.

Apparently she is, and is 90 (unless this quick google search is a different person). Looking on various searches she's big in Australia and had an exhibition in London in 2009. For whatever reason she seems to be mainly covered by the Observer in most results I've found over the last 5 years.
