Looking for Map Site

I have been looking for a website which can show me old OS style maps of an area a bit like Google Maps but one which will show old rights of way/paths/trails etc.

I know OS do a site but you need to purchase the maps from there whereas I am trying to find a site where I can scroll about (like Google Maps) for free

I did stumble across one a while back but can't seem to find it anymore

Can anyone help ??

Tried it but it doesn't do the detail I am looking for.

Trying to get a 1:5000 map in the old style a bit like this which shows old paths etc -

As I say... I KNOW there is a site out there but I can't find it again

Found more than I was looking for LOL

National Library of Scotland has put its maps online which stretch back to pre 1600. Anyone else interested can find them here - http://maps.nls.uk/

there is a pretty good OS App on the iPhone. Only good if you have an iPhone tho...

Allows you to compare modern OS maps with loads of things, including 1940's and 30's OS maps. Only downside is it's limited to 1:50,000 scale.

It has basic route plotting features too.
