I have been reading that dual rank is better but it's difficult to tell if if the ram is dual rank or not...

I am looking for DDR4 3600 Preferably CL 14 but CL 16 is fine too...

Low profile would help as I will be buying a big air cooler but also not 100% necessary.

Thank you :)

You currently can't buy dual rank C14 kits in the UK unless you want to pay ridiculous prices for importing. TeamGroup's C14 offering might come in a couple months and G. Skill 3600C14 was supposed to be end of November but nothing. Elsewhere I heard December 18th but don't know if that is true. MSRP is also going to be $300...

I suggest: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/team...00c16-3600mhz-dual-channel-kit-my-002-8p.html

As for air cooler the NH-D15S would be a good fit. No clearance issues then.

Thank you. Are those dual rank?

CL15 3600 x 4 8GB sticks? as another option or stick to CL16 3600 x 2 16GB sticks?

You always want to try and get the capacity you need in the fewest possible sticks. You do this because it's generally cheaper and it's much easier for the cpu and the motherboard to run just 2 sticks compared to 4. Way less headaches.

Are you referring to the G. Skill 3600C15 2x8GB? If you are then buying 2 kits of those is not worth the cost over the 2x16GB kit linked above.

Thank you, I also learned that even putting two of the same kits in that they are not exactly the same.

I have the 5900x and have gone with the inflated and regrettable purchase of the G.SKill Trident Z Neo 3800Mhz...... I literally know nothing about overclocking and currently trying to find how I get get this memory up to it's potential. It's a shame I can't find an idiots guide with pictures to help me through this process. I am so not confident I will most likely leave everything at stock level. Just aware I am leaving a huge amount on the table.
I won't be messing around with it hence I bought the above ram with already really good CL timings.
