Looking for modification ideas...

Hi there,

I have this mini-ITX motherboard: click here for picture.

The GPU/Chipset (I think...I know its NOT the CPU) has the heatsink with fan. The motherboard is actually being used in a FreeNAS server so there is no GPU output at all as it's all managed through browser.

The fan is quite loud so was looking for ideas for making the board quieter...

...any ideas?

under volt fan so it runs slower?

whats the model of that mobo?

whats the case like?

Of the top of my head I would look into northbridge coolers with 80mm + fans but as said more info needed.

Model of board is: Intel D945GCLF2.

Case has a lot of space in it but it's a generic one.

That way I could get it to run completely silent? Yes?
