Building a system for Surround and looking for the best monitors / options.

I could go crazy and go for

3X BenQ XL2420T 24" TRUE 120Hz 3D Vision 2.0 Widescreen LED Monitor - Black/Red = £989

Heard good things about these but I'm not fussed about the 3D yet, is it any good?

I already do have a 22" AOC HD LED Monitor 5ms however would like 2ms monitors and all to match, just something to think about tho...

So any suggestions? Good picture / price / gaming and 3 of them !?

Go for the BenQ XL2411T and get three of them, they are cheaper than the 20T and work the same plus the 11T has 144Hz Refresh Rate. Colours definetly need adjusting out the box but everything else is brilliant.
From 60 to 120-144Hz is just simply amazing!!

Also your AOC you can keep for the internet and other work. :)

only 144hz on ATI as nvidia doesn't support 120hz hence why it's not afvertised as 144 since it's an nvision monitor.

Personally I love the xl2420T especially now i have them vesa mounted they look so nice and even.

I've always used nvidia too I was just stating that 144hz only works on ATI as far as I know I don't want people buying thisaa monitor expecting things they can't get. 120hz is what it claims and that is all you are guaranteed to get but it would seem some ATI users are getting more.

In the recent steam hardware survey so far 50% of all steam survey participants use Nvidia 38% ATI and the remaining 12% I assume on varying versions of onboard graphics.

Ok cool, going to stick with nvidia I think!

Is this 3D Vision worth the investment / hitting it off in the gaming world?! More cost effective solution would be to go for 3X non 3D monitors, is so what would you recommend? As a non 3D setup for surround? I have herd good things about 3D tho on nvidia...

Thanks!
