Hey guys im building a new pc very soon and im after some suggestions pls its for gaming pretty much only. I am after everything monitor, pc, keyboard mouse and os ect in this spec as my son is having the pc in my sig.

I can go to about £3.500 on this build.

How do you list stuff like you have done? hasnt there been a lot of complaints about those acer monitors?

Yeah it's only over £3k :p

The only gripe with the monitor I'd say is only 1 input which is a bit strange considering the price. That's no problem though if you'll only be using it for PC.

Just had a look at the thread.

Backlight glow is an inherent IPS trait, some of the pics do look bad though with the bleed in the corners.

You will always get the people posting more that complain about an item than sign how great it is.

If you are worried you can always send it back/replace it or go for a ROG Swift - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-070-AS&groupid=17&catid=948 - but again there have been people moaning about this "backlight flickering" at low fps/refresh rates.

Couldnt get that app thing to work to post mine hehe thanks again Stulid.

I am thinking of going with 250gb 850 pro ssd for my os and either a x1 1tb 850 pro ssd for storage and games or x2 500gb 850 pro in raid 0 for storage and games ect.

Also a H105 cooler in the enthoo?

What do you think?
 
The H105 will fit and you can change the ring on it to match red.

A single 1Tb will be plenty fast enough, I've done RAID0 SSDs and its more of a novelty.
 
Thats what I was thinking thanks stullid will save some coin too going with the 1tb instead of x2 500gb hehe :)

Did you change your front fans to 140mms if so is it any better?

Whats about a 295 instead of x2 290x's?

I dont have that case.

295X2, hmmm more expensive, and uses up another fan mount with its rad.

But leaves a slot free.
 
What I was thinking was gpu rad on back enthoo fan slot as intake and x2 140mms on the front as intake and the H105 as exhaust?
