I totally feel like a pensioner here and don't know what I'm doing... I had a good deal with O2 (£6/month SIMO) which has now gone up to £7.85/month. I also got a discounted Disney+ sub through them I think for £7.99/month which totals my bill at £15.84. It was only a 12 month SIMO deal an now expired so I want to get it back down to as cheap as possible. Don't need data as I dual-SIM my work phone.. barely need minutes either tbh.

I'm looking in the MyO2 app and see this offer;

..but I'm assuming the £5 deal is a new SIM connection in addition to my current one? Weird because I can find a similar deal via MoneySupermarket here; https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/package-o...5_1687025010_732775deb81b76cc86e1d65c58682437 :confused:

I feel like a total noob here, TLDR;
  1. What's the cheapest (has to be eSIM and preferably O2 as I like them) possible SIMO deal out there?
  2. If I find a deal like the above MS one, how do I port my number with eSIM :o
Thanks :o

EDIT: Should I just ring O2. Would they offer me anything worthwhile?

Existing customers can access this as well as it will just ask you to log into My o2 and go from there and it will set you up on a new contract.

I have done it a few times via USwitch even a month or two into a new contract if a better deal popped up

So click the link and follow the steps on the 02 website and you end up at the page which says are you an existing customer then you simply just log in and go from there.

Does that keep your existing number then?

Yes, it just moves you on to the cheaper price and a new 12 month agreement.

o2 are really desperate at the moment. The coverage for me was really bad so i moved to EE but if it works for you then you cannot beat this price.

So I could go via Uswitch for £12 cashback, get this deal for £5/month 10GB data, unlimited mins/data, 3 months free Disney+ and not get caught in a major faff to keep my number?

What's the process with doing that with an eSim on my iPhone? Or will I literally go through and login to O2 and magically change over to the new billing without needing to do anything? I have visions of them sending me a new SIM card to activate/transfer etc :o

I just called retentions and the best he could do was 1GB for £7/month, 3 months free D+. Seems a little lame..

Yes basically that, I have used TopCashback using this method a few times and its tracked everytime
