Looking for new mouse and keyboard, Some Questions

I just got the normal Lycosa InfernoUK, not really keen on it, dandruff and food bits show up lovely on the piano black parts :) Not sure about the 'mirror' differences though...what about their new Keyboard 'Arctosa'.

This text from the razerblueprint site...
Razer has announced two new keyboards: The Razer Arctosa and the Razer Lycosa Mirror Special Edition. The Arcotsa seems to be a simplified Lycosa wihout the USB port and the sound connections(see this comparsion chart for more infos). The Lycosa special edition comes witha high gloss mirror finish of the keytop but without the rubber finish. Overall dimensions and other specs seem to match.Pricewise the Arctosa (available in silver and black) will be 49.99 USD compard to 79.99 USD of the original Lycosa and the Lycosa mirror edition.

yeah ive seen that dont artacosa just looks like a budget board im nto really that bothered just want to choose between normal and mirror now, difference is mirror dosent have rubbery keys but i cant see how thats worth paying more for.

yeah i was looking at the death adder until i saw the Kone it just looks so much better in ever way minus the scroll wheel fault but i guess it cant be that much of a problem

I think most of the logitech/razer keyboards are relativly comparable and quite good.
I just got the reclusa advanced for xmas and its a pleasure to type on.

Just had a good look myself, the reviews speak for themselves, your right about how it looks , I think if i were in the market for a new mouse i would chose this one also.

If you have the money then why not go for it?

I have the Deathadder and the Lycosa Mirror.

First off the Deathadder, amazing mouse, does everything perfectly for right handers and when u get used to the speed of it u will notice it really helps gaming. Also i have not managed to break it yet even tho it has been smashed off the desk a number of times. Would recommend easily unless you hav the cash for the Roccat.

Lycosa mirror on the other hand is a bit of a let down. Shiny surface is annoying cos it fingerprints like a Samsung telly. Keys sound cheap and nasty. Can't see the keys when the lights are off as everything is a shiny black. LEDs could be a touch brighter.
Altho the actual keyboard works very well in practice its hard to justify the cost at £65ish (i got it as a pressie so can't complain to much).
If i had a choice again i would just buy the Arctosa or the normal Lycosa if you really want the lights.

Any questions feel free.
