Looking for old bios setting from prebuilt i7 3770

Hi,

I bought a prebuilt system from Overclockers in 2012. Still going strong and just upgraded to a GTX 980 TI (again from Overclockers). I needed to update the bios to get it working and have lost the bios settings that OCUK used to reach 4.5 GHz. I know I should have written them down or something but does anyone still have them?

It'll probably be different for every system. What motherboard do you have, you're probably going to have to do it manually - don't worry it's fairly easy.

That's the one so a Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H motherboard. For now I just increased the 'turbo' clock to 45x and left everything else on auto. Will see if that stays stable.

You may do well to follow a "generic" overclocking guide for the Z77 chipset - the BIOS feature naming will be slightly diffeent but you should be able to muddle through.

The oc3d one taught me how to overclock when I first started out. It shows the importance of manually controlling voltage.
