Ok, I am aware such things exist, but with the multitude of choices out there I'd be interested to hear opinions and experiences.

Since I'm regularly working on different machines, I'd really like to be able to have some online storage directly mapped to a network drive in Explorer on these machines to enable easy access to my documents regardless of where I am. The Explorer integration is key to me, as is, of course, security.

So, roll on the stories!

Thanks in advance.

No idea how many machines you are talking about and if it's work / personal, but you could create your own domain (for simplicity im assuming they are all in the same vacinity / network). You could then use folder redirection so that your desktop is actually stored on the domain controller and not that pc.

Check out Skydrive Explorer. I've not tried it my self but I saw this today and it seems like a nice alternative to Dropbox if you want more free space, although I do really like dropbox even if you only get 2GB storage.

Well I've been using Dropbox this evening, and many thanks for the recommendation, it seems like a very nice piece of kit. I especially like the ease of knowing whether or not I'm fully synced just by glancing at the systray.

Sorry for the thread Hijack, I was under the impression there was a free 40gb offline storage somewhere. I remember reading it in PC Plus a few months back.. I maybe wrong though. Anyone?
