Hello all. im in dire need of a pc upgrade.
Im a professional photographer and also do video work working with GoPro 4K footage, this part is mainly a hobby but still want something that will easily allow me to work and edit with these files.

In the past, Ive always built my own systems, but these days, I'd rather just get the guys at Overclockers to do the build for me.

Currently looking at the I7 4790.
Ideally I'd want either 16 or 32gb RAM.
GPU im unsure of and need some help with that.
and possibly a 250gb SSD for system drive.

Dont need anymore HDDS as I'd just use the ones I have for now.

What would you guys recommend as a build?
Im willing to spend around £800-£900, maybe more if need be and worked out more cost effective.

Thanks.

Hi there,
I hope I'm not hijacking this thread but I also need advice on a photo editing rig as well. The price of all of the above is in my price range but the best bang for the buck is high on my list. I would also like to add a DVD burner (with burning software preferably) and an operating system.
I have WIN7 Home Premium on my existing machine. Should I get Win 8.1? I prefer the look of Win7. Advice on this please.
I would like to have 480 or 512GB for System drive.
Here is a lionk to my current system from 2011, which I bought from OCUK. Should I notice a a speed increase on photo editing with any of the above gear. Are the above kits easy to overclock?

Thanks in advance
