hi,

looking for a PSU for my PC - The one I currently got is a v.old and load pack.. looking for something a little bit quieter and something that'll fit in my case (i can't screw mine in at the mo as mine's a bit too short).

So need something with atleast 2 sata connectors, i've got two fans connected to the case that need at least 2x connectors to get them spinning..

It's currently running fine at 300W fine without any issues..

also looking for a cheap HDD then i'll be sorted! or can I have an SSD? this is my mobo; MSI G41M-P25

thanks if anyone can help.

A Corsair CX430 will power that easily enough.

I used one a bit ago in my Sister's/Niece's home PC, very quiet.

But maybe spend a bit more for more future proofing/upgrades, say something like a XFX 550w core edition which has a ball bearing fan and is made by Seasonic.

They are standard ATX size, so yeah.

ATX power supplies generally have the dimensions of 6 × 3.4 × 5.5 (inches) and in metric 150 mm × 86 mm × 140 mm and share a common mounting layout of four screws arranged on the back side of the unit.

From wiki.

This is my box at the mo.. I have put in a spare PSU just to see if it turns on.. at the mo my PC is running anywhere near 70-79C
