What are your guys' best options of these monitors? Been struggling to find any that are within budget (£250-300 each)

Size would preferably be 24, but slightly bigger or smaller is okay. Just cant be too big as I wont have space for my desk.

For your budget two of these - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/aoc-...-widescreen-led-gaming-monitor-mo-048-ao.html

1440p is typically tied to 27" so there is only a handful of 24" 1440p panels and once you go for 27" 1440p the price goes way up and up to £150 on top of the would be price if you want IPS. My 27" TN 1440p G-SYNC cost me £500 and that was on Black Friday.

Thanks man, this seems perfect!

I was wondering though, is it worth it to get 1440p at only 24" because Im not sure if its possible to notice the difference in clarity between 1440p and 1080p at only 24".
But at 27" it seems as if it'll be much more noticeable.
Also the screen would only be about 2 feet in front of me (maybe less)

What games will you be playing?

Range of things tbh, some AAA games like GTA and the arkham series and also some smaller games like PUBG and csgo.

Just wondering if its actually beneficial to go for 1440p when the screen size is only 24"

1440P @24 Inches gives a pixel density of 122 PPI
1080P @24 Inches give a pixel density of 91 PPI

So yes it would be clearer at 1440p on a 24 inch monitor than 1080p.

24 Inch would be fine if are sitting in front of the screen (less than a meter away), anything over would be too big and you'd need to turn your head.

I know that its better ppi, but im just pondering whether your eyes would even actually notice the difference in clarity from this sort of distance?

If its that glaringly obvious, then why arent more people on 4k monitors? Isnt it because you simply wont notice the difference from these kind of distances? (less than a meter away)

You will easily notice 1440p over 1080p whether it's at 24" or 27". 4K is not practical for gaming especially if you want to reach 144Hz.
