Looking for Royalty Free Images

I'm putting together some leaflets and I need some images to go on them.

I've Googled "royalty free" and "free images", which yields results that either contain disclaimers, ('We cannot guarantee that you will be able to use the Image etc..') or display images taken in the 1950's.

Can anyone recommend genuine web sites - do they even exist or is that too good to be true? :)
