Looking for short games.

Hi

I've decided that for a while I want to play short, relatively easy games. Basically I'm looking for anything (any genre) that I could complete in a day and enjoy. Anything decent spring to mind? Doesn't have to be particularly new, just has to work in win 7.

try torchlight, im playing it on normal and not finding it taxing at all, I'm level 8 and ive played an hour and a half.

its £3.75 right now on steam

Got Torchlight and Portal (finished it, it's absolutely brilliant). Cheers for the suggestions though.. Any others?

Plant Verus Zombies or any popcam game could fit the bill aswell as any episodic games i guess. which reminds me to preoder the new sam & Max season from www.telltalegames.com.

If you have HL2, get the Metastasis mod for it, it's quite short and very good. HL2: Ep1 and 2 are both quite shot and excellent. I think you'd be hard pressed to complete Torchlight in 1 day.

I dont quite get what you mean @ the OP.

Do you mean short as in doesnt take long to finish or short as in you can pick up and play a game/match etc and walk away from it 30 mins to an hour later?

Portal, OK it'd be a push to finish it in 1 day especially if you got stuck but it's a great game that you can put down and pick up later.
Mirrors Edge Great game, unusual too.
Trine Great platformer that looks amazing.

I disagree. I couldn't stop playing it and had to finish it in one sitting.
