looking for simple editing software

Hi their im looking for some software to sketch out a desk to design,i dont want it too complicated just something better than paint.i want it to be small file size if thats possible but no problem if it isnt

Paint.net is better than Paint in every way. Are you sure you want an image editing program though? Wouldn't Sketchup be better for designing furniture? Probably wandering into the "complicated" category though

i will have a look thanks,its more drawing a idea up than rendering etc its only a corner unit so was looking for a basic software

how about a piece of paper, a pencil and a ruler?

can always scan it/take a photo once done.

Google's SketchUp is great, easy to use app for what you are probably looking for.

The girlfriend used it throughout her uni degree when building and creating residential area's. Very very easy to use

I'd vote SketchUp too. It's easier to use than paint programs to be honest and sounds like more what you're after.
