Looking For Simple Garage Door Open Warning Indicator

We have installed an automatic garage door last year and several times have left it open overnight. There are two remote controls one lives in the car and one is fixed to the wall in the house. When we go out to the garage for something at night we have to remember to close the door from the house when returning and somtimes forget.
I have searched the intenet but cannot find what we are looking for. Most of the alarms and indicators bleep when a door or window is opened. I am looking for simple wireless device to set up in the house, which is about 50 meters away, which will show an indicator light when the door is left open. There is a power supply to the garage, although on a different circuit from the rest of the house, so I am not sure if something even simpler can be done through the wiring.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Most panels for garage doors will allow an auto close feature if you want it remain open you could install a stop button

I've got Samsung Smartthings and I'm using a z-wave sensor that tells me if the garage door is open or not. Although I would have to go in the app to check. I don't use my garage for much other than storage at the moment though, so the door is never really open unless I'm cleaning the cars on the drive or something.

Get a 240 volt push button and fix to where ever the door stops when open so door presses switch - connect to a light on outside of garage- when doors open light is on - or you could use a yellow flashing beacon or a hooter - or record a message that plays over a loud speaker saying "Oy stupid you left door open " Loads of simple solutions

I have a press button by side door and main door so when exiting I just press button - I am sure your opener would have the same function - also have remotes - I have got into the habit of remote to open and button to close on way out.
