i am looking to upgrade a few parts of my system in the coming months

currently i have
core 2 quad, 2.4ghz
4Gb OCZ gold RAM
Asrock 4core 1600 mobo
500 gb hdd
4850 512mb
750w unbranded power supply

windows vista 64 bit

I am defintly going to get a new power supply, going for the OcZ modXstream 600w
i also want to partition my system.
I want another hdd, and then i will have win 7 and xp on that disk partitiond, and all my documents and other bits on the other.

With this in mind i though it would b a prime time to replace my poor excuse of a mother board. As i would be doing clean installs there would be no driver conflicts with the change ect.

Can you guys please help me select a LA775 mobo for me which is a good overclocker, stable and good value. And a hDD either 500gb or upwards.

thank you!!!!

i can vouch for that OCZ. great piece of kit. cables might be a bit short in a larger case though. (im using a thermaltake VA3000BWA, in which they're a tad too long...).

HDD wise, once up and running (see my review on the OCUK website as there was a hiccup when i first got it), the seagate barracuda 7200.12 has been great for me (500gb), but i believe most people reccomend the WD caviar black or the samsung spinpoint F3. i cant really tell you the difference as i dont know myself.

not really clued up on intel stuff (bit of an AMD person here.), but the Asus P5Q range get a lot of mentions in these forums...
