One of my tasks at work is looking after our telephone system. I just fixed our music-on-hold box and have decided that the CD we have is awful. In fact, it's worse than awful, it's almost down to the quality that local commercial radio stations play!

I'd like to put together a replacement CD for our music-on-hold but it needs to be:
  • Free to download
  • Royalty free
  • Decent
Anyone know of any suitable download sources for music which meets these three requirements?

K.

I'll give it a look tonight (can't download torrents through the work firewall), thanks.

Feek - it's worth a try. I'm not sure if you can get there without a subscription (or from the UK, for that matter), but Entertainment Weekly Magazine publishes their "Dowload This" in each issue. I've found some real good tunes from bands that are trying to get publicity that I wouldn't normally listen to.

Snoop around! :)

I might be wrong here but I've got a feeling that you can probably use anything which is over 50 years old. Some Glenn Miller perhaps?
